Iceland volcano: Drone footage captures beautiful up-close watch of eruption

A drone captured beautiful close-up shots of lava effervescent in the crater of a volcano on Tuesday that started erupting around Iceland’s money Reykjavik on Friday.

:15 The drone operator braved the snow and biked 7 kilometres to the volcano which is not available by road, and captured lava pouring from the crater, down the facet of the volcano, and into a lava area.

The eruption, which transpired around Fagradalsfjall, a mountain on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwest Iceland, adopted hundreds of smaller earthquakes in modern weeks and was the initially on the peninsula considering that the 12th century.
