Nokia supports the CityBarge project in producing a smart and sustainable infrastructure around the canals in historic towns like Delft. CityBarge contributes to urban liveability by reinstating the use of waterways for city distribution of waste and other cargo to decrease congested metropolitan areas of (hefty) truck transportation.
Nokia engineering performs an essential job in this ambition, in which it enhances the existing CityBarge associates: Provincie Zuid-Holland, Provincie Utrecht, KOTUG Transport, Skoon InnoTractor, Dell EMC, SPIE, CityHub and FYNLY.
