There has been a lot discussion of “software legal responsibility,” and regardless of whether new rules are desired to really encourage or have to have safer software. My presentation will explore how — no matter of no matter if new rules are passed — a tidal wave of litigation over defective IoT cybersecurity is just more than the horizon.
