Im-Peck-Capable: Australian Raven Attacks Drone Providing Espresso

A Canberra man’s drone-shipping and delivery coffees have been getting a tough trip lately, many thanks to some ravens who’ve started attacking them.

Ben Roberts, of the Canberra suburb of Harrison, captured this footage outdoors of his household on September 21 as a raven went on the offensive.

The clip reveals the fowl swoop down on and peck at a Wing-operated drone.

Speaking to Storyful, Roberts stated he’d identified the angry birds was ravens, and that it was not the very first time he’d witnessed them attacking drones. He instructed the Canberra Situations the clever birds had even figured out to steer clear of the drone’s blades.

Wing’s automatic drones can arrive at speeds of up to 64.9 miles for each hour and can protect a distance of about 12 miles, in accordance to the company’s web page.
