Europe drought: Drone footage captures dried-up rivers, parched fields from extraordinary warmth

A brutal summer time of heat waves in Europe has brought about havoc for lots of in rural locations and drone footage captured the dramatic uncoverings of drought-stricken rivers, lakes and parched fields throughout the Iberian peninsula.

As Spain encounters its worst drought in a long time, the emergence of a prehistoric stone circle in a dam whose waterline has receded has been uncovered. Formally regarded as the Dolmen of Guadalperal but dubbed the Spanish Stonehenge, the circle of dozens of megalithic stones is thought to day back again to 5000 BC.

In France, a report drought has lessened the Loire river, renowned for the hundreds of castles on its banking institutions, to a trickle.

In Italy, a rocky seashore emerges from Lake Garda, the country’s major lake and important vacationer desired destination, as it suffers from extreme drought for months.
